Sun damage is prevalent in our harsh sub-tropical climate. It results in blotchy pigmentation, sallow skin, loss of elasticity, visible blood vessels (veins), wrinkles and sun spots.

Each of the above problems can be addressed with the appropriate laser but more often we use a combination of two, three or four different lasers to address many of these blemishes over three treatments spaced one month apart.

Excellent results can be achieved with lasers. There are a number of other lasers available which target specific problems such as removing pigmentation, treating red capillaries and veins and removing wrinkles caused by the sun. The Clinic's 'Specialty Procedures'

At our clinic we have the unique advantage that we have 14 state-of-the-art lasers each capable of addressing different facets of cosmetic improvement. This, together with our depth of experience has enabled us, over the years, to develop what we call multi laser procedures where we use 2, 3 or 4 of these minimally invasive lasers over three or four sessions spaced a month apart to produce fantastic results with minimal or no down time.

These are designed to give a tailor made course of treatments for rejuvenation of the face, neck, upper chest and hands.

For example, the Walter-Nolan 3 Laser Procedure involves three treatments one month apart using Intense Pulsed Light on each of the three monthly visits to remove sallow skin and lay down new collagen, giving the skin a much improved texture and feel and combinations of two other lasers, the vascular laser and Alexandrite pigment laser for removing any streaky veins around the nose or elsewhere on the face as well as any brown liver spots.

Our Walter-Nolan 4 Laser Procedure does all of these things as well as using, in addition, the Erbium: YAG laser to remove any raised senile warts or other small raised benign lumps or tumours. The 4 Laser Procedure involves four treatments spaced one month apart.

Similarly, we have a 3 Laser Procedure for the neck and upper chest involving appropriate lasers for blemishes in these areas. As the neck and chest skin is very fine and delicate, it is necessary to keep settings low for safety reasons and this translates into five treatments spaced about one month apart.

These multi laser procedures are becoming more and more popular in the United States and Europe and reflect the desire of clients to achieve, with a high degree of safety, a big increase in the quality of the skin as well as removal of reddish or brownish or raised blemishes without any significant down time.
